Hug Your Farmer: A Benefit for Pete’s Greens

As many of you may know, on a cold night in Craftsbury a couple of weeks ago, our friends at Pete’s Greens lost their barn to a massive fire.  Along with several tractors and various pieces of farm equipment, the barn contained their winter storage crops and the farm’s processing facility. In the spirit of community that helps to make Vermont a special place, we’ve organized a benefit concert at Higher Ground next Thursday (Feb. 3rd), with 100% of ticket sales going to the farm’s rebuild and recovery. The all-star lineup includes Page McConnell and Jon Fishman of Phish, along with some of Vermont’s best local musicians. The event is presented by Love Tomorrow Today and Select Design, with additional support from Healthy Living, a natural foods market featured in our first ‘Hug Your Farmer’ video, and Gardener’s Supply.
