Got a video camera and a world-changing idea? In the latest example of eco-philanthropy, The X PRIZE Foundation, an educational non-profit that designs and administers competitions with prizes of $10 million or more, is launching a video contest on YouTube sponsored by Prize Capital, LLC (www.youtube.com/xprize) that will award $25,000 for the best video proposing a new, world-changing idea.
This is the same organization behind the $30 million Google Lunar X Prize competition for the first privately funded team to send a robot to the moon, travel 500 meters and transmit video, images and data back to the Earth. to send private vehicles to the moon.
